Cruzerio match shirt worn by Ronaldo on the occasion of a match of the Brazilian Serie A Championship, season 1993/1994.
Brazilian football icon Ronaldo "the phenomenon" wore this Blue home uniform with Cruzeiro during the 1993/1994 season.
He was signed by Belo Horizonte on the recommendation of Jairzinho, 1970 world champion and former player of the Mineiro club, who had bought the player’s card from São Cristóvão.
After a series of friendlies played in August 1993, he became a starter in the national championship where he scored twelve goals in fourteen matches, and was the team’s top scorer.
The following year, however, he was the top scorer of the Campeonato Mineiro, won by Cruzeiro, with twenty-two goals in eighteen games which were also added two more in the eight games played in the Copa Libertadores. Of the latter was the memorable goal scored at Boca Juniors starting from midfield and depositing the ball in the net after dribbling four opponents, including the goalkeeper.
On the shirt there is the technical sponsor Finta applied on the shirt, both on the chest and inside the number on the back.
On the front there is the commercial sponsor Coca-Cola and five white stars symbol of the club, applied on the shirt .
On the back: Coca-Cola commercial sponsor and nameless number 9 as even in the early 90' the names on the jerseys of the players were not inserted.
Ronaldo always wore the short-sleeved shirt during the season at Cruzeiro.
There are no internal labels but only the one on the collar that shows the size G.
Additionally, this shirt comes with an LOA from MEARS (319224), which has assessed this jersey as "Authentic."
