In 2012, Emma Silvestris introduced an interesting and unexpected functional expansion of the successful "Mediterraneo" family, turning the fruit bowl into a "support for bowls."
The designer created a bowl that, when placed inside the fruit bowl, became a new item suitable for holding salads or other foods, such as fruit salad or pasta.
In 2012, this expansion applied to the larger version of the fruit bowl, with a diameter of 29 centimeters. The functionality and versatility of this item now lead to the proposal of a version suitable for the 21-centimeter diameter fruit bowl.
