Commemorative Roma Football Celebrating the Scudetto Won by the Giallorossi in the 2000/01 season.
The ball features the names and numbers of the Roma squad players. Beneath each printed name, the players have signed the ball using marker pen. Among them stand out the names of Gabriel Batistuta, Emerson, and Walter Samuel—players brought to Roma by sporting director Franco Baldini himself.
In the 2000/01 season, Roma, managed by Fabio Capello, won the third (and currently last) Scudetto in the club’s history, finishing the campaign at the top after leading for most of the season.
The ball was directly gifted to Franco Baldini, who at the time was Roma's sporting director.
