Description

Italy match shirt issued / worn by Luca Bucci in a 1994 World Cup match, season 1994.

Italy in the 1994 World Cup defeated Nigeria, Spain, and Bulgaria in succession, thus reaching the final against Brazil, held on July 17 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. After 120 goalless minutes, the match was decided by a penalty shootout, the first time in World Cup history that the title was awarded this way.

Misses from the spot by Baresi, Massaro, and Baggio condemned Italy to a 3–2 defeat.
