During the 2006/07 season, Baldini served as technical secretary of Real Madrid, playing a key role in the signing of Gonzalo Higuaín. The transfer was finalized on December 14, 2006, and became effective the following January, when the player signed a six-and-a-half-year contract.
The shirt belongs to the private collection of Franco Baldini.
