Italy match shirt issued by Balzaretti for a friendly match played between 2012 and 2013.
This away shirt model was used on two occasions, both during friendly matches played against the United States and Nigeria: the first, held on February 29, 2012, ended in a 0–1 defeat for Italy, while the second, on November 18, 2013, finished in a 2–2 draw.
Between 2012 and 2013 (the years during which the Italian National Team wore this model), the number 6 on this shirt was not worn exclusively by Federico Balzaretti, but also by other national team players, including Angelo Ogbonna, Andrea Poli, and Antonio Candreva.
The shirt can be considered a issued version, as in both friendly matches the Azzurri took to the field wearing the official match kit with the players' surnames on it.
Balzaretti signed the shirt on the front with a dedication.
The shirt belongs to the private collection of the Schillaci family.
