Sebago sailor jacket

Description
Sebago is a clothing brand founded in 1946 in Maine, on the East Coast of the United States. Known for its iconic penny loafers, the moccasins of the Ivy Leagues, it has become a pillar of preppy style.
Today, the brand continues to be synonymous with excellence in quality, maintaining the production of its historic pieces such as moccasins and boat shoes, but constantly evolving to respond to contemporary trends, also with an increasingly rich and innovative apparel collection.
This double-breasted regular fit Caban is a classic pea coat suitable for cold climates and created to wrap the body keeping it warm and keeping the winter chills away also thanks to the fold-down collar and lapel.
It is made of a heavy wool blend and fully lined for greater resistance to humidity. It features rubberized buttons, 2 double-welt pockets on the front, 2 inside pockets, eyelets under the sleeve for ventilation. Still a timeless style statement today, the Caban was originally worn by soldiers and sailors of the European and later American navies: references to it can be found in American newspapers as early as 1720.
