Description

Rare Eisenberg clip-on brooch in silver alloy with white rhinestones and turquoise glass paste – USA, circa 1935

One of the first brooches made by Eisenberg

This rare and elegant clip-on brooch, made in the United States around 1935, represents one of the first creations by the renowned Eisenberg brand, an iconic brand of 20th-century American costume jewelry.

Crafted from high-quality silver alloy, the brooch features a refined and structured composition, typical of the late Deco aesthetic and early Eisenberg production, in which design and materials were meticulously chosen to clearly distinguish it from common costume jewelry.

The decorative elements consist of precisely cut white rhinestones, set to create intense and refined plays of light, and turquoise glass paste inserts, which realistically imitate natural stone and add a fresh and elegant touch of color. This combination of materials was one of the house's signatures in the 1930s.

Measuring 7.5 cm x 5 cm, the brooch has a well-balanced presence: bold enough to catch the eye, yet still suitable for versatile use on dresses, tailored jackets, or coats. The original, functional clip closure reflects the taste and techniques of the era.
