Description

Real Madrid match worn / issued shirt by Raul in a LaLiga match, 1994/1995 season.

October 29, 1994. A cold evening in Zaragoza. Raúl González Blanco, just 17 years and 124 days old, stepped onto the pitch for his first-team debut with Real Madrid, becoming the youngest player in club history to wear the iconic white shirt in an official match.

A week later, in front of a roaring Santiago Bernabéu, Raúl announced himself to the world: a goal and an assist in the Madrid derby against Atlético. It wasn’t just a performance, it was a statement. The crowd witnessed the symbolic passing of the torch from Emilio Butragueño to a new bearer of the sacred No. 7 shirt.

That 1994/95 season, Raúl played 30 league matches, scored 10 goals, and played a pivotal role in clinching La Liga, the club’s first title in five years. In a Real Madrid side rejuvenated by Jorge Valdano and driven by players like Michael Laudrup and Fernando Redondo, the teenage forward quickly emerged as a technical and emotional leader, embodying the hunger and character of a new era.

By season’s end, he had been named La Liga’s Breakthrough Player by Don Balón and was already known across Spain as “El Niño de Valdano”, the boy who had brought hope back to the Bernabéu.

This jersey — a relic from that unforgettable first season, marks the beginning of a legend. It is more than just fabric and thread; it is the birth of Raúl, the boy who became the face and soul of Real Madrid for a generation.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops, it could have been worn during the match and washed after the end of the match or prepared for the match but then not used.
