Bruno Giordano was one of the most talented Italian forwards of his generation. Having come through the ranks at Lazio, where he won the Serie A top-scorer title in 1978/79, he joined Napoli in 1985 and soon became part of the famous “Ma-Gi-Ca” trio alongside Maradona and Careca.

He played his final season with Napoli in 1987/88. He was a key technical asset in the Azzurri attack, contributing with goals and assists throughout the long title race. That season, Napoli fought at the top until the final matchdays, eventually finishing second, and Giordano reaffirmed himself as a player of great quality and tactical intelligence in service of the team.
