Mario's passion for cooking began in childhood, when he began preparing delicious snacks with his grandfather. Over the years, he honed his skills through study and research into traditional local products, and in 2000, he decided to open his first restaurant.
For the location, he chose this stunning building dating back to the early 1900s, originally a "restaurant-shop" and a meeting place for locals. It was completely renovated to recreate a classic late 19th-century atmosphere, simple and refined, featuring colors and images depicting the local area.
From the beginning of this adventure, the delicious simplicity of the dishes has created an atmosphere that evokes a "home-like" experience with the gourmet chef, rather than a traditional restaurant.
Over the years, the business has expanded thanks to the arrival of the owner's children: first daughter Beatrice and then son Francesco. The family business, maintaining its original spirit, is now recognized as one of the finest restaurants of its kind in Italy.
