This is the ball used by the Azzurri during training before the 2006 World Cup Final against France. Compared to the balls used throughout the rest of the tournament, it features gold inner details, a distinctive element that clearly links it to the Final.

However, it is not the ball prepared/used for the Final match itself: as shown in the gallery, it lacks the “match day” marking, which was present on the official balls used in the Final.
