He contributed to Milan’s 2nd-place finish in Serie A. During the 2011/12 season, Robinho made 40 official appearances for the club, scoring a total of 10 goals — with 7 in Serie A and 3 in the UEFA Champions League. His performances included decisive goals both in the Italian league campaign, where Milan finished runners-up, and in European competition, with important strikes in the group stage and continental fixtures.
