Description

Cagliari match shirt worn by Rizzo in a Serie A match, 1965/66 season.

The jersey comes with a certificate of authenticity that will be sent to the winning bidder.

In the 1965/66 season, Francesco Rizzo was one of Cagliari Calcio's key players. He played in attacking midfield and was also a key player in front of goal.

That year, he played virtually the entire season and scored 10 goals, a remarkable feat for a midfielder, making him the team's second-highest scorer behind Gigi Riva.

Cagliari finished midway through the table, but was building the foundations of the team that would win the Scudetto a few years later. Rizzo was crucial in this context: he brought quality to the game and made constant runs, becoming one of the team's key players.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops.
