McGregor is an Irish mixed martial artist and boxer. He fights for the US federation Ultimate Fighting Championship, in which he was champion of lightweight and featherweight; previously he was also champion in both categories in the British organization Cage Warriors. In 2015 he defeated the featherweight champion José Aldo in just thirteen seconds, setting a record for the fastest finisher in a title match.
