The Fiorentina shirt in question was used only on three occasions: the match against Hellas Verona on December 14, 2025, the match against Como on February 14, 2026, and the match against Udinese on March 2, 2026.

However, it can be traced back to the match against Como or Udinese, since only in those two matches were the initials of the recently deceased president, Rocco Commisso, on the chest, under the club crest, and the sponsor did not appear on the back of the shirt; in the match against Hellas Verona, however, the sponsor was present on the back. This special patched model has never been sold in official stores.

The unique double-sided design, chosen by Fiorentina in collaboration with technical sponsor Kappa, represents a first in the club's history. Greeted with mixed reactions by fans, it has become one of the most sought-after and prized models among collectors.

In terms of fit, this model is unusually large: precisely because of the double-sided construction, the shirts fit larger than usual. For this reason, players have chosen smaller sizes than usual: Moise Kean, for example, wore a size L for this special edition.
