Description
Fascinator made with upcycled saris from India.
Each petal is hand-shaped and fitted with a metal wire core, allowing the decorative elements to be shaped and given movement. The composition is mounted on a fabric-covered base to ensure lightness, comfort, and stability.
A dramatic accessory that combines recycled textiles, craftsmanship, and contemporary aesthetic research.
I'm a milliner, and my hats are handmade with quality materials and traditional millinery craftsmanship. Using old wooden forms, I transform felt and straw into headpieces to be worn on a wide variety of occasions. My collections are generally inspired by 1920s cloche hats, evoking their style. I also include headbands, turbans, colorful fascinators, intricately decorated berets, and hats with silk flowers, all handcrafted by me. When decorating my hats, I like to reuse scraps of felt and old ties; I also enjoy making hat linings with upcycled saris.
