Original vintage AC Milan "Magic Ribbon" concertina toy, complete with its original case and instruction leaflet.

An unusual and scarce AC Milan souvenir/gadget consisting of a series of small player portrait panels housed in transparent plastic frames and connected together in accordion ("concertina") fashion.

Marketed as the "Magic Ribbon" (Nastro Magico), the toy opens and folds back on itself continuously, creating the characteristic cascading motion effect that made this type of novelty particularly popular during the 1950s and 1960s.

The sequence features portraits of several legendary Milan players, including Juan Alberto Schiaffino, Lorenzo Buffon, Gunnar Nordahl, Soerensen, Ricagni, Nils Liedholm, Cesare Maldini, Zagatti, Silvestri, Bergamaschi and Valli, together with a final panel displaying the historic AC Milan club crest.

Each portrait is identified by the player's surname and produced in black-and-white or red-tinted tones, typical of football memorabilia from the period.

The lot also includes the original instruction leaflet, titled "La grande novità il Nastro Magico" ("The Great New Magic Ribbon"), explaining how the toy operates, as well as the original translucent green plastic storage case featuring the AC Milan crest on the front.

An interesting and uncommon piece of post-war Italian football memorabilia and a fine example of vintage AC Milan collecting.
