Description

The “Adolfo Schweizer Trophy” was awarded to F.C. Internazionale during the International Youth Football Tournament organised by A.S. Carlin’s Boys in Sanremo in 1953.

The trophy features a sculpture of a standing footballer holding a ball in both hands, crafted from metal with a dark patina and mounted on a large rectangular wooden base.

The front of the base bears a gold-coloured decorative plaque featuring the emblems of A.S. Carlin’s Boys and Switzerland, together with the inscription: “A.S. Carlin’s Boys – Torneo Internaz. Calcio Ragazzi – Trofeo Adolfo Schweizer – Sanremo 1953”. Below it is a second engraved metal plaque reading: “1953 – F.C. Internazionale”.

The trophy has an overall height of approximately 45 cm.

The shipping costs, at the expense of the user, will be definable ultimately only at auction concluded on the basis of his nationality because of the large size of the framework.

This memorabilia piece is part of the Campaign dedicated to objects that have shaped the history of great football: a unique item, previously displayed at the San Siro Museum, that tells the story of the achievements, emotions, and triumphs of the great teams that have played in this stadium, particularly Milan and Inter, as well as international clubs and national team: indissolubly linked to the legend of one of the most iconic stadiums in the world: San Siro!
