A striking commemorative artwork dedicated to Diego Armando Maradona, produced as part of the OPUS project in a worldwide limited edition of just 5,000 copies.
The composition takes the form of the legendary number 10 shirt, a number forever associated with the career and legacy of the Argentine football icon. The large “10” at the centre is rendered in light blue, immediately recalling the colours of Argentina and Maradona's unmistakable sporting imagery.
The upper section bears the inscription identifying the work as part of a “worldwide limited edition of five thousand”, with a designated space for the individual edition number. At the bottom appears a blue signature accompanied by the inscription “Diego Maradona, Buenos Aires – 2005”.
The glass is anti-reflective, and the frame is made of high-quality wood.
The shipping costs, at the expense of the user, will be definable ultimately only at auction concluded on the basis of his nationality because of the large size of the framework.
