Large illuminated sculpture lamp attributed to Marco Lodola, depicting a cyclist celebrating victory with both arms raised while riding a stylised bicycle.

The work is designed as a shaped wall-mounted light sculpture, featuring translucent coloured panels outlined in black. The cyclist wears a vivid green and yellow jersey bearing the number 88, purple shorts and a red and purple helmet. The bicycle is rendered in contrasting shades of blue, red, purple and black, creating the bold visual impact characteristic of pop-inspired design.

The rear reveals the translucent magenta structure, internal lighting tubes, electrical wiring, hanging fixture and power cable with a European plug. A handwritten inscription on the back bears the name “Marco Lodola”, together with the date 2006 and the dimensions of the work.

The lamp measures approximately 154 × 100 × 19 cm.

The cyclist’s triumphant pose and the bright, energetic colours transform the object into a striking celebration of speed, competition and victory. When illuminated, the translucent surfaces enhance the composition and emphasise its dynamic, theatrical character.

A spectacular decorative piece of considerable visual impact, ideal for collectors of cycling memorabilia, contemporary pop art and illuminated design objects.
