Diadora shin guards from the “Antonio Cabrini” line, prepared/worn by a footballer during the 1980s.
The shin guards are made of stretch fabric and feature a protective structure consisting of three vertical light-blue plastic inserts, housed within three padded compartments on the front.
The front features the green Diadora logo and a reproduction of Antonio Cabrini’s signature, both original elements of the model. The shin guards also feature blue-trimmed stitching and a shaped lower section with an underfoot strap, designed to keep them securely in place during use.
This style of shin guard was widely used at the time and was also worn, among others, by Diego Armando Maradona, as shown in the gallery.
