Italy U21 match shirt issued/worn by Donadoni for a UEFA European Under-21 Championship match, 1986 season.

This shirt dates back to a particularly interesting period in the evolution of the Italian National Team’s kits. Following the transition from Ennerre to Diadora, the senior National Team adopted an updated design, while the Under-21 side continued to wear a version based on the previous 1985 model, now produced under Diadora as technical supplier.

In 1986, the Azzurrini, coached by Azeglio Vicini, with Donadoni among the key players, reached the UEFA European Under-21 Championship final, where they were defeated by Spain on penalties after a 3–3 aggregate score over the two legs.
