Olympique Lyonnais match worn / issued shirt by Juninho in a Uefa Champions League match, 2006/07 season.

During the 2006/07 season, Juninho Pernambucano was one of Lyon’s key figures in their UEFA Champions League campaign. A technical leader and captain of the team on several occasions, the Brazilian once again showcased his exceptional ability from set pieces and his capacity to make an impact even against top-level opposition. Lyon finished top of their group, ahead of Real Madrid, with Juninho proving particularly influential during the group stage.

In the 3-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv, he scored a spectacular free-kick and also provided an assist, while he finished the competition with 5 assists, the joint-second-highest tally of the tournament alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

His performances helped establish Lyon as one of the strongest sides during the group stage, before their campaign came to an end against Roma in the Round of 16.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops, it could have been worn during the match and washed after the end of the match or prepared for the match but then not used.
