Italian National Team match shirt prepared/worn by Luigi De Agostini for one of the two friendly matches against Greece (30/05/1990) and AS Cannes (02/06/1990), played in preparation for the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy, 1990 season.

The match against Greece ended in a 0-0 draw, while the match against AS Cannes ended in a 3-0 victory for Italy. The latter also featured a young Zinedine Zidane, who came on as a substitute in the second half for the French club.

The shirt can be attributed exclusively to these two matches because this particular Diadora shirt model was used by the Italian National Team only during these two friendly matches ahead of the 1990 World Cup, distinguishing it from the shirts worn during the tournament itself.

In the match against Greece, De Agostini was included in the starting lineup, while in the following match against AS Cannes, he remained on the bench without making an appearance.

The shirt shows signs of wear, possibly related to gaming actions, however, no photographic evidence of the same has been found and therefore it is not possible to guarantee beyond reasonable doubt that the shirt was actually worn in match (and not getting dirty in other ways over time).

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops, it could have been worn during the match and washed after the end of the match or prepared for the match but then not used.
