Juventus match issued/worn shirt by Buffon for the match against Cagliari played on 19/08/2017, valid for Matchday 1 of Serie A, during the 2017/18 season.

The match ended in a 3-0 victory for Juventus.

In this match, Buffon was included in the starting lineup and played a key role by saving a penalty taken by Diego Farias in the 39th minute of the first half, awarded following a VAR review, as the technology was used for the first time in Serie A.

The shirt can be attributed to this specific match because it features the special "Jeep Compass" sponsor on the chest, used by Juventus for their opening match of the 2017/18 Serie A season to celebrate the launch of Jeep's new SUV model.

The Jeep Compass sponsor was used only in this match.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops, it could have been worn during the match and washed after the end of the match or prepared for the match but then not used.
