A unique and exclusive contemporary artwork created by Italian artist Mattia Mastrillo to celebrate Lionel Messi, one of the most iconic and legendary figures in world football history, and his extraordinary journey with FC Barcelona.

Leo Messi Tribute is an original collectible artwork, created as a one-of-a-kind piece (1/1), with no reproductions, through a combination of artistic techniques, photographic collages, painting, and resin-coated three-dimensional elements. At the heart of the composition is Lionel Messi's iconic Blaugrana shirt, featuring the legendary number 10, a symbol of an unforgettable era in the history of FC Barcelona and international football.

The artwork captures the most significant moments of the Argentine superstar's career with the Catalan club, celebrating his extraordinary achievements, UEFA Champions League triumphs, Ballon d'Or awards, and the exceptional talent that established him as one of the greatest footballers of all time.

A THREE-DIMENSIONAL ARTWORK WHERE ART MEETS HISTORY:

The defining feature of the artwork is the presence of a real fabric football shirt, integrated directly into the canvas and treated through a special resin-coating process that enhances its structure and creates an extraordinary three-dimensional effect.

The shirt is not simply depicted or printed, but represents a physical element of the composition, giving the artwork depth, volume, and a unique visual impact.

The background is characterized by an elaborate collage of iconic photographs retracing Lionel Messi’s career with Barcelona, from his early seasons in blaugrana to the celebrations of his greatest achievements.

The composition is further enriched by painterly interventions, splashes of color, and handcrafted artistic details, which intertwine with the shirt and the historical imagery, creating a balance between contemporary art, emotion, and sporting memory.

More than a simple football tribute, it is a three-dimensional collectible artwork that encapsulates the history, talent, and immortal legacy of Lionel Messi.
