Made entirely by hand using original moulds from Caltagirone, this creation features an elegant white base with a matt finish.

It is slip-cast and hand-decorated according to historic Sicilian ceramic-making techniques.

For more than ten years, Waiting For The Bus has represented an original journey through the rediscovery of Italian craftsmanship. From north to south, Made in Italy continues to offer techniques and materials that, through tradition, research and creativity, are transformed into everyday objects of great charm.

Born from an ancient legend of love and jealousy dating back to the Arab domination of Sicily around the year 1000, the story of the Moor’s Heads continues to live on through WFTB’s handcrafted ceramics, reinterpreted in a contemporary way while preserving their cultural memory.
