Wyler Vetta "Tribute to Ermetico" watch

Description
Wyler Vetta celebrates 100 years since the first Wyler watch produced in 1924. On the occasion of the anniversary the brand presents the model - Tribute to Ermetico - created in a limited edition of 100 pieces, a manual winding mechanical chronograph that pays homage to one of the chronographs most iconic of the Maison Switzerland from the 1940s, one of the first waterproof chronographs in the history of watchmaking.
The Tribute to Ermetico chronograph by Wyler Vetta has a satin-finished 316L steel case measuring 38 mm in diameter and uses an original Nicolet caliber from the 1970s, completely reworked and customized for Wyler Vetta - visible from the open case back. The case is waterproof up to 10 atmospheres.
The dial with indexes and Arabic numerals (almost) faithfully reproduces the historical model, the two small seconds and 30 minute counters are placed at 9 and 3 o'clock respectively.
The minute track is electric blue and both the telemetric and tachymetric scales are shown on the dial. The blue hour and minute spheres recall the leaf shape of the historical model.
The writing "chronographe" in French appears at 12 o'clock above the Wyler Vetta logo, a detail that has been present since the brand's very first chronograph creations.
Setting the watch and managing the chronograph functions are managed via the knurled steel crown and the start and stop buttons. The case is embellished with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
The handcrafted strap is made of alligator leather and is equipped with a pin buckle.
The watch in question is number 1 of 100 examples.
