The success of the extensive "CACTUS!" series, particularly its fruit bowl, which we introduced in 2002 in two sizes (21 and 29 cm) in polished stainless steel, deserved different finishes and colors to present the item in new lights and with varied effects.
The two finishes, "Gold" and "Grey Metal" (metallic black, gunmetal), are achieved through an electroplating process that deposits pure gold with a matte finish for the "Gold" and nickel for the "Grey Metal."
The finish is made more durable with a protective matte and invisible coating.
