Description

Commercial value: 5000€

The image titled THE MASK is available in a limited edition of 6 certified copies, guaranteed on Blockchain and verifiable via a microchip (NFC technology) placed on the back of the image. The limited edition of only 6 copies is considered a unique specimen.

The photograph features an indigo leather frame, made from the waste products of PELLEMODA, a world leader in leather goods for prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Ferragamo, Balenciaga, Ralph Lauren, Celine, Gucci, and many others, and designed by the renowned Italo-Kenyan artist Armando Tanzini.

Andrea Varani began his career as a photographer in his early twenties, in the early 1980s, transforming a passion shared with his father, an acclaimed and award-winning amateur photographer, into a profession. By the mid-1980s, he started collaborating with Jean Yves Malbos, a Parisian art director, producing photos for some of the most prominent fashion magazines of the time, and has continued ever since.

Andrea Varani is known for creating "extraordinarily refined and powerfully elegant images that are not easily forgotten, timeless and evergreen." His true passion lies in the search for enchantment, charm, pleasantness, elegance, and the Beauty of the world, "what illuminates our lives with magic and dreams and makes us fantasize and soar high, where all sadness, pain, and discomfort are alleviated and obscured" (Maria Cristina Brandini, The Mysterious Photographer, in Andrea Varani, Men Off. The Book, 2023).
