Description

Title of the work:

"Appeso alla ricerca del ciak perfetto"

Technical specifications:

  • Carpegna, 1999;
  • 40x28cm - p.d.a;
  • Fine Art Print Smoot.

Additional information:

"One of the things that has always fascinated me about still photography is the possibility of capturing an instant that goes beyond the film. A fragment of a scene that will have a life of its own. It doesn't matter if that film is more or less famous. That "stolen" instant on stage will still be able to walk on its own two feet and carve out its own "iconic" nature. In this film, Donkeys, I had the opportunity to portray Claudio Bisio lifted off the ground inside a jute sack. A surreal situation stolen during filming in a countryside location: Carpegna, a picturesque village in the Marche region. I like to think that this suspension is a bit of a metaphor for our lives, eternally suspended between laughter and tears, joy and disappointment, love and hate, earth and sky."
