Alberto Scandalitta was born in Milan, lives and works in his city. Graduated in Political Sciences, for many years he has been involved in social photography, teaching and iconographic research and collaborates on projects for foundations and non-profit organizations.

He has just completed Michelle, a photographic story on the theme of Alzheimer's care published by "Witness Journal", an Italian photojournalism monthly.

The work "my name is Leonardo" was presented during the evening "The sense of gift" in favor of the Benedetta D'Intino Center; the photos of this project were published in the June 2019 issue of the magazine "Comunicare" and some of them were used for the Rai 1 program la prima volta (stories of women and courage) and TV2000 L'ora solare.

From March to April 2020, during the Lockdown months, he was a teacher of the photography project Aspiranti Fotografici, a photography course aimed at the brothers and sisters of children followed by the Augmentative Alternative Communication sector of the Benedetta d'Intino Center and has recently completed a course of social photography workshops for children as part of the Bookcity Scuole initiatives.
