"It was a scorching afternoon in the Mexican summer.
During a visit to the Museo de Arquitectura Maya in Campeche, this three-level climb caught my attention for its essential forms and clean geometries.
The lights and shadows created by the blazing sun generated intense and contrasting colors, representing the austere beauty and strength of ancient Mayan constructions.
The combination of stone layers and the vibrant red, together with the deep shadows, created a play of light and shade and shapes that enhanced the simplicity and elegance of the architecture."
