Parliament by Le Corbusier Designed by Le Corbusier in 1963 for the Parliament of Chandigarh in India, Parliament is a symbol of 1950s modernism, inspired by the industrial lighting of the time.
The adjustable diffuser is equipped with two open symmetrical cones for direct and indirect lighting.
The finishes correspond to the “claviers de couleurs” color system developed by the Swiss-French master himself.
Since this is an item of considerable weight and size, the auction winner agrees to pay an additional shipping fee over the amount generated by the automatic system. The exact amount of this additional fee will be communicated via email in the next days following the auction’s ending, or the user may request it in advance if he wishes to receive an estimation before deciding whether to place a bid.
