The first official game ball used during the Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù vs Cividale match, held on March 16, 2025, at the PalaDozza in Bologna, for the LNP Serie A2 Italian Cup Final.
Specifically, this ball marked the opening of the LNP 2025 Italian Cup Final Four and was used from the initial tip-off to the first basket of the game. After Dustin Hogue scored the first two points of the match, the game stopped for a moment full of meaning: the number 22 of Pallacanestro Cantù handed the ball directly into the hands of the godmother of the event, Martina Caretta.
This powerful and symbolic moment was also broadcast live on Rai Sport on March 16, 2025.
