Giancarlo Antognoni is a former Italian footballer known for being the symbol of Fiorentina and one of the most elegant midfielders of his generation. He played almost his entire career with the Viola team, becoming its captain and flag. With the Italian national team he won the 1982 World Cup, despite not playing in the final due to an injury.
The shirt was signed on the back by Antognoni.
The shirt comes from the private collection of Emilio Ferretti, known to all as “Sghibbe”, historic Fiorentina warehouseman between the seventies and eighties.
