The 2000–01 UEFA Cup was the 30th edition of the competition of the same name. It was won by Liverpool in the final against Alavés, thanks to an own goal, valid as a golden goal, which decided the final act at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund; with this success, the English club tied Juventus and Inter at the top of the multiple winners of the trophy.
The shirt belongs to the private collection of Franco Baldini.
