Inter match worn / issued shirt by Samuel in the Italian SuperCup match played against Milan on 6th August 2011, 2011/12 season.
As established by the rules of the Italian Super Cup at the time, the match featured a clash between Milan, Serie A champions of the previous season, and Inter, winners of the 2010/11 Coppa Italia. It was the first-ever Milan Derby in the history of the competition.
The Inter shirt worn for the occasion displayed the tricolor cockade, symbolizing their Coppa Italia triumph, as well as a commemorative patch celebrating their 2010 FIFA Club World Cup victory, both applied on the front of the jersey. Match details were also printed beneath the club’s crest.
Also on the front was a special sponsor written in Chinese characters, as shown in the photo gallery. The match was held in Beijing, marking the first of two editions of the Super Cup played in the Chinese capital.
The game ended with a 2–1 victory for Milan.
