Description

Arsenal match issued / worn shirt by Thierry Henry in the Premier League match played against Sunderland in 11/02/2012, 2011/12 season.

In January 2011, after signing with the New York Red Bulls, Thierry Henry returned to train with Arsenal to maintain his fitness ahead of the MLS season. The following year, during the 2011/12 campaign, he rejoined the Gunners on a two-month loan, choosing the number 12 shirt since his iconic 14 was already taken by Theo Walcott.

In his final spell with the Gunners, he used this kit model only in the match against Sunderland, which also marked his last game in England. On that occasion, he scored the decisive stoppage-time goal to secure Arsenal’s 2–1 victory.

The shirt features the internal heat-applied wash label, a feature that distinguishes match shirts from store shirts.

This memorabilia is part of the match supply made available to players during official competitions and is different in its features in relation to the ones sold in fanshops, it could have been worn during the match and washed after the end of the match or prepared for the match but then not used.
