Photographer and artist Giuliano Grittini was born in Corbetta, in the province of Milan. Over the course of his long career, Grittini has collaborated with important figures such as Andy Warhol and Alda Merini, with whom he shared a deep friendship.

As a painter, Grittini developed his own artistic technique, called "cracker art," a type of collage that involves breaking down an image and then reassembling it with multi-material elements of text and color.

The Milanese artist's hand-painted pop paintings draw inspiration and origins from social reality.
