Progetto SpesaSospesa

SpesaSospesa.org(®) is a circular solidarity project launched in 2020 to support people in need. This virtuous and sustainable model was conceived and promoted by the Lab00 ETS Foundation (Lab00) in collaboration with the Regusto platform, which manages transactions for essential goods, ensuring transparency in the management of donations.

To date, the initiative is present in 27 municipalities (Alessandria, Afragola (Naples), Capri (Naples), Capriolo (Brescia), Catanzaro, Città di Castello (Perugia), Gioia del Colle (Bari), (Bologna), Milan, Molfetta (Bari), Naples, Narni (Perugia), Rome, Perugia, and a network of municipalities in the Parma Est and Pademontana Parmense Apennines) and helps over 15,000 people. With the support of companies and private individuals, approximately 2,800 tons of essential products (food and non-food) have been purchased and recovered, distributed to people in need through the network of non-profit organizations participating in the project.

The project as a whole contributed to the distribution of over 5 million meals—both purchased and donated products—generating a positive environmental impact: more than 3,400 tons of CO₂ were avoided thanks to the recovery and redistribution of products that would otherwise have been disposed of.
