Stefano Raimondi

Stefano Raimondi is an Italian Paralympic swimmer, born on January 1, 1998, in Soave, Veneto. Following a scooter accident that caused an injury to his left leg, he began his career in Paralympic swimming, competing in the S10, SB9, and SM10 categories. He is a member of the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro of the Italian Police.


He made his debut at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, winning seven medals: one gold in the 100m breaststroke SB9, four silvers, and two bronzes. At the 2022 World Championships in Madeira, he won six gold medals, while at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, he earned five golds and one silver, also contributing to a world record in the 4x100m freestyle relay. In December 2024, he was awarded Paralympic Athlete of the Year at the Gazzetta Sports Awards.
