Unione Sportiva Salernitana 1919, better known as Salernitana, is a football club based in the city of Salerno. He plays in Serie A, the highest division of the Italian championship.

On 19 June 2019, the Campania team celebrated 100 years of football history.

The official color of the club is grenade since 1943, its symbol is the hippocampus since 1949, and the team plays its home games at the Arechi stadium since 1990.
