Intesa Sanpaolo

Active since January 1, 2007, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. was formed through the merger of two major Italian banking institutions: Banca Intesa and Sanpaolo IMI. Its legal and administrative headquarters are located in Turin, with a secondary office in Milan. The bank's origins date back to 1563, the year the Istituto Bancario San Paolo di Torino was founded—one of the oldest financial institutions in the country.

With its 2022–2025 Business Plan, the Group has outlined an ambitious strategy aimed at strengthening its position as a European leader in Wealth Management, Protection & Advisory, based on a sustainable model characterized by Zero-NPL, strong digital innovation, and a strategic focus on fee-based services.
