Carabinieri Sports Group

The Carabinieri Sports Center was founded in Rome in 1964, and since then, numerous athletes have brought prestige and prestige to the institution and, more generally, to Italian sport through their successes at both national and international levels.

The Carabinieri's sports organization has undergone several changes over the years. On October 26, 2009, the General Command established the Carabinieri Sports Center in Rome, to ensure unified management of the sports sector and better coordinate the activities of the Sports Sections. The Center is under the direct command of the Carabinieri Schools Command and is commanded by a Senior Officer.

The current Commander of the Carabinieri Sports Center is Colonel Gianni Massimo Cuneo, who is also its President. Each Sports Section is affiliated with its National Federation as a sports club.
