Napoli Women

The club was founded in 2003 under the name Calciosmania Napoli, competing in amateur leagues. Over the following years, it changed its name and corporate structure several times, eventually becoming Napoli Dream Team and then adopting its current identity.

The turning point came in the 2010s, when the team grew and managed to advance to the Women's Serie A, the top division of Italian football. However, its stay in the top flight was uneven: Napoli alternated promotions and relegations between Serie A and Serie B.

In 2020, the club was refounded as Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli Femminile, strengthening its ties with the city and seeking greater organizational stability. In recent years, it has continued to compete in the top two divisions, working towards establishing itself as a stable presence in Serie A.
