Tathiana Garbin

Tathiana Garbin is a former Italian tennis player, born in 1977, best known for her career on the WTA circuit and her contribution to women’s tennis in Italy.

During her career, she won one WTA singles title and achieved notable results, including a famous victory over Justine Henin at the French Open in 2004, when the Belgian was among the favorites.

After retiring from professional play, she became the captain of the Italian national team in the Billie Jean King Cup, helping guide and develop new generations of Italian players.
