Renault
Renault is a historic French automotive brand founded in 1899. Today, it is part of the Renault Group and produces everyday cars, primarily small cars, compact cars, and an increasing number of electric models.
Its strong point has always been practicality: cars that are easy to drive in the city, generally affordable, and with a modern but not overly extreme design. Models such as the Renault Clio and Renault Twingo are among the best-known in Europe, while in recent years the brand has made a strong push into electric vehicles with the Renault Zoe and the new Renault 5 E-Tech.
In general, Renault is seen as a "popular" brand in a positive sense: plenty of useful technology, good distribution, and a focus on everyday mobility rather than luxury.
