Marqués de Riscal: Two Nights of Architecture and Wine
Auction closed

Founded in 1858, Marqués de Riscal is one of Spain’s most innovative and iconic wineries. A pioneer in Rioja in applying Bordeaux winemaking methods and bottling wine as early as 1862, it was also the first non-French wine to be awarded in Bordeaux in 1895.
Its bold spirit led the winery to establish a second winery in Rueda in 1970 and, in 2006, to inaugurate its iconic hotel designed by Frank O. Gehry, now a symbol of wine tourism. With a global presence, it was named World’s Best Vineyard in 2024 and inducted into the competition’s Hall of Fame in 2025. Innovation and a willingness to take risks are part of Marqués de Riscal’s DNA and continue to guide its development today.
